Privacy Policy
Last updated September 25, 2026
Remove AI Tells (removeaitells.com) is run by The Streamer Agency LLC ("we" or "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and the tool, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version
- Scanning text for AI tells happens in your browser. That text never reaches our server.
- When you click Humanize, your text goes to our AI provider to be rewritten. We do not save it.
- There are no accounts. If you buy credits, we keep your email address and your credit code so we can send the code back to you if you lose it.
- We never see your card number. Stripe handles payment.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Text you paste into the tool
The "Scan for AI tells" check runs entirely in your browser. The text you scan is not sent to us.
When you use Humanize, your text is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and then to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI models, which writes the new version. Our server passes the text through and sends the result back to you. We do not write your text or the rewrite to a database or a log file.
Anthropic processes the text under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to use that text to train its models. Anthropic may keep requests for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring.
Please do not paste passwords, financial account numbers, health records, or other sensitive information into the tool.
Information stored in your browser
- Visitor ID. A random ID saved in your browser's local storage. We use it to count your free rewrites for the day. It is not linked to your name or email.
- Credit code. If you buy credits or redeem a code, the code is saved in local storage so the tool unlocks by itself next time.
- Language. A rait_lang cookie remembers whether you used the site in English or French, so the purchase confirmation page shows in the right language.
Clearing your browser data removes all of these. Keep a copy of your credit code somewhere safe.
IP address and usage limits
Our server uses your IP address to enforce the daily free limit and to stop abuse. These counters reset every day. Like almost every website, our host and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site, also record standard request details such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
Purchases
Credit packs are paid through Stripe. Stripe may act as the seller of record for your purchase and handles any sales tax. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are covered by Stripe's privacy policy. From Stripe we receive your email address, the pack you bought, the amount paid, and a checkout reference. We store those with your credit code and the number of words left on it.
We only email you when you ask us to, for example when you use "Forgot your code?" in the tool, or when you write to us. We do not add you to a marketing list.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you visit, the device you use, and simple tool events such as "scan used", "rewrite used", or "purchase". It never receives the text you paste. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Companies that help us run the service
- Anthropic writes the rewrites.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Cloudflare and our web host serve and protect the site.
- Google provides analytics and our email.
Each of them handles data only to provide their part of the service.
How long we keep things
- Pasted text and rewrites: not stored by us.
- Free-limit counters: about one day.
- Purchase records and credit codes: for as long as the code can be used, and as long as tax and accounting rules require after that.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to help you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us from the address you used to pay. If you ask us to delete a purchase record, the credit code and any words left on it are deleted too. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the EU and UK or the CCPA in California may give you additional rights, and we will honor them. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-site advertising.
Children
Remove AI Tells is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
